These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases made through the Eastern Marine Engineering Services WooCommerce store. By placing an order and ticking the acceptance box at checkout, you agree to these Terms.

2. Acceptance of Terms (WooCommerce Checkout)

By completing checkout and ticking the “I have read and agree to the Terms & Conditions” box, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • You are authorised to place the order
  • All information provided is accurate

Orders cannot be processed without acceptance of these Terms.

3. Products & Descriptions

We supply marine engineering parts and consumables.

We aim to ensure all product descriptions, images, compatibility notes, and specifications are accurate. However:

  • Product images may differ slightly from actual items
  • Manufacturers may change specifications without notice
  • Compatibility information is a guide only

It remains the customer’s responsibility to confirm suitability before purchase.

4. Pricing & Taxes

  • All prices are shown in NZD (New Zealand Dollars)
  • Prices include GST unless stated otherwise
  • We reserve the right to correct pricing errors at any time

If a pricing error is discovered after purchase, we will contact you before fulfilling the order.

5. Orders & Acceptance

All orders placed through WooCommerce are subject to acceptance.

We reserve the right to cancel or refuse orders, including where:

  • Fraudulent or suspicious activity is detected
  • Payment cannot be processed

If we cancel your order, you will receive a full refund.

6. Payment

We ship throughout New Zealand and selected international locations.

You are responsible for providing accurate shipping details. We are not liable for delays or losses due to incorrect addresses.

8. Click & Collect (if enabled)

Orders selected for pickup must be collected within a reasonable timeframe after notification.

Proof of purchase may be required at collection.

9. Returns & Consumer Guarantees Act (NZ)

We comply with the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA).

You are entitled to a remedy if goods are:

  • Faulty
  • Not of acceptable quality
  • Not as described

We may offer:

  • Refund (where required under CGA)

We do not accept returns for:
