The Mercury Marine 8M0047931 Quickleen Engine & Fuel System Cleaner is a genuine Mercury OEM fuel additive specifically formulated to remove carbon deposits, gum, varnish and combustion by-products from fuel systems and internal engine components. Designed for use in both two-stroke and four-stroke petrol marine engines, Quickleen helps restore lost performance, improve fuel efficiency and maintain clean engine operation.
Over time, fuel injectors, intake valves, combustion chambers and fuel system components can accumulate deposits that reduce engine efficiency and performance. Quickleen works by cleaning these deposits during normal engine operation, helping restore throttle response, improve idle quality and reduce carbon build-up throughout the engine.
Regular use of Quickleen can help prevent sticking piston rings, injector fouling, spark plug deposits and combustion chamber carbon accumulation. It is particularly beneficial for engines that spend extended periods idling, trolling or operating at lower RPM ranges where carbon deposits tend to build more rapidly.
