The Mercury Marine 8M0047932 Quickstor Fuel Stabilizer is a genuine Mercury OEM fuel treatment specifically formulated to protect petrol engines during periods of storage and inactivity. Designed for use in both two-stroke and four-stroke marine engines, Quickstor helps prevent fuel oxidation, gum formation, varnish deposits and corrosion within the fuel system during seasonal layups and extended storage periods.
Modern petrol fuels can deteriorate rapidly when left unused, leading to hard starting, rough running, clogged injectors, carburettor deposits and fuel system corrosion. Quickstor works by stabilising fuel and protecting internal fuel system components from the damaging effects of stale fuel and moisture accumulation.
The advanced formula helps preserve fuel quality, protects fuel tanks and fuel system components from corrosion and reduces the risk of fuel-related issues when the engine is returned to service. It is particularly beneficial for boats that are stored over winter, used seasonally or left unused for extended periods.
