XSonic Airmar B150M 12° Tilted Element CHIRP Through-Hull Transducer

The Mercury Marine 8M8034985 XSonic Airmar B150M 12° Tilted Element Transducer is a premium bronze through-hull CHIRP transducer designed for Simrad and Lowrance sonar systems. Featuring Medium CHIRP technology operating between 95–155 kHz, the B150M provides an excellent balance of depth penetration and target separation, making it ideal for inshore, coastal and freshwater fishing applications.

The 12-degree tilted element design is specifically intended for vessels with hull deadrise angles between 8° and 15°. Unlike traditional fairing-block transducers, the internal ceramic element is angled within the housing to ensure the sonar beam points straight down when installed, providing more accurate depth readings and stronger echo returns.

Constructed with a bronze housing for fibreglass and timber hulls, the B150M incorporates depth and fast-response water temperature sensing. Its medium-frequency CHIRP signal delivers excellent fish detection and structure definition in shallow to medium-depth water, with a maximum depth capability of approximately 183 metres (600 feet).

The transducer features an XSonic 9-pin connector for direct compatibility with selected Simrad and Lowrance multifunction displays, eliminating the need for splicing or custom wiring.
