The Mercury Marine 8M0210753 SmartCraft CAN P Network Terminator is a genuine Mercury OEM network resistor designed to provide proper termination for SmartCraft CAN P communication networks. Installed at the end of a SmartCraft network, this 10-pin terminator ensures stable data transmission between SmartCraft devices, gauges, junction boxes and engine control modules.
Correct network termination is critical for SmartCraft system performance. A missing or faulty terminator can result in intermittent communication faults, flickering gauges, unstable data readings, lost engine information and network errors. The 8M0210753 terminator provides the correct resistance required by Mercury’s CAN P network architecture, ensuring reliable communication throughout the SmartCraft system.
